Newton was our adorable sweet orange tabby cat and the inspiration for our name and logo. We were honored to have him in our family for 18 amazing years. We were heartbroken to lose Newton in 2019 but we know that he lives in in our company name and in our kitty stamp designs and he will always be an inspiration to us and our fans!
A few fun things about Newton:
• He had a short stubby tail
• His favorite toy was a soft red ball but he didn't like you to see him playing with it!
• He was incredibly smart and could open any cabinet door in the house!
• He was incredibly smart and could open any cabinet door in the house!
• He hugged like a teddy bear with his arms around your neck
• He loved to itch his nose by pulling down the flaps on cardboard boxes.
• He was the inspiration for our very first stamp set, Newton's Antics, and still appears in many of our cat designs.
a perfect inspiration! can't wait for the release!

Love the Newton stamps and the real thing too.
ReplyDeleteI just found you through Crafty Math Check's SCS gallery because she played in your challenge! I LOVE cats. My teen just saw Newton's photo and said, Awwww, he looks like Tiger (our Tiger had to be put to sleep this Feb) I plan to come back and buy Newton's Antics or Wagon wishes soon! I can't wait to play in a challenge too!
ReplyDeleteSweet story, just like your sweet stamps!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! Pets are bundles of joy!!!
ReplyDeleteI love him... <3
ReplyDeleteYour kitty is so sweet and I love your art work. Very cute and clever, as a cat and dog lover I understand how they can inspire you or just keep you company while you create.
ReplyDeleteI have a particular affinity to orange tabby cats. I had Gremlin, smart and stubborn, but as loyal as a dog. Your designs are super--I have a long Newton's Nook wish list items, and I look forward to having fun with your muse!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet . I need a cat.
ReplyDeleteGlad to meet you Newton. I have 3 cats, Tabitha (16), Garth (16) & Buddy (3), they are all rescue cats & so loving & funny. We think the day we saw each of them they picked us to save not the other way round. Keep inspiring all those designs that we get, your doing a top job !
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your company and your adorable stamps. I love the concept of naming it after your kitty. I plan to color the stamps to resemble our kitties, particularly Kai and Mako, both part Maine Coon tuxedo cats. We have 5 cats total, 4 tuxie boys and 1 Grey Persian lady (the princess of the home).
ReplyDeleteI just commented on one of the blog hops for 2021 valentines that one of the kitty stamps has a stubby tail! Glad to put the name to a face for Newton <3
