Frankenstein Bookmark!
Today Diane has created a fun Halloween themed bookmark!
This fun bookmark features Newton dressed as Frankenstein from our Franken-Newton Stamp Set. She colored the cute image in neutral colors and gave him a bright blue jacket. The image was cut out using the coordinating Franken-Newton Die Set.
Next, she cut out the bookmark using our Bookmark Die Set. To add some spiderwebs to each end of the bookmark she used our Spiderweb Oval Stamp Set. Since she only wanted a bit of spiderweb on each corner and didn't want to ink up the whole stamp she used blue painters tape to block the ink from touching where she didn't want it. Then you simply remove the tape and stamp!
She repeated this process to add spiderwebs to each corner. The Frankenstein kitty was added to the center along with some stitched hearts from the same stamp set. To finish the bookmark she added the sentiment "Frankly, you're the best!," also from the Franken-Newton Stamp Set. The sentiment was embossed in white onto a red banner that was die cut using our Frames & Flags Die Set.
We hope you enjoyed this fun bookmark today. It would be perfect for keeping your spot in a book this Halloween season!
