Ice Cream Birthday Wishes!
What is sweeter than a birthday wish with ice cream? How about adding some sweet kitties too!? Today Amanda has a yummy birthday card that is filled with a big stack of both!
She started by stamping the fun tall image of kitties and ice cream scoops from our Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set. She colored the kitties in neutral tones of gray and used fun bright teals, pinks and chocolate brown for the ice cream colors! Of course a red cherry on top finishes it off! She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Birthday Delights Die Set.
For her card she started with a white card base and added a fun pale pink panel that was stenciled with stars using our Cascading Stars Stencil and splattered with pink and brown ink splatters. The torn edge on the bottom gives a fun bit of texture. She layered this onto her card and then layered a vellum square at an angle (cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set). The ice cream stack is the final layer along with the sentiment, which was stamped onto a white stitched cirle, also from our Frames Squared Die Set. A bit of pink twine across finishes the fun layout.
We love how this card is simple yet filled with small details and textures! What a fun way to make a special birthday greeting!
