Gnome Birthday Wishes!

Today Tatiana is sharing a gnome themed birthday card that is pretty in pink! 

For this sweet birthday scene she starts with the gnomes from our Gnome Garden Stamp Set. She stamps two gnomes along with some butterflies, flowers and a ladybug from the stamp set and colors them using alcohol markers in pretty shades of pink, green and blue. She adds a few white gel pen accents and cuts the images out using the coordinating Gnome Garden Die Set.

Next, she creates a scene for all of her images. She inks a sky in pale pink and then adds layers of circles using our two piece Bokeh Stencil Set in light pinks and then adds raindrops in dark pink using our Raindrops Stencil. Isn't it cool how the two stencils look layered together! What a fun sky!

For the bottom of the scene she cuts out two hills using our Land Borders Die Set and inks the edges with a bright lime green ink. Then she assembles the scene together, adding in the gnomes and all the flowers and butterflies. She adds the sentiment into the sky from the Gnome Garden Stamp Set and adds a little strip of pink striped paper on the right, cut from our Springtime Paper Pad.

Floral Filled cards by Zsofia Molnar

Blooms for Someone Special!

Today we are sharing a duo of floral cards by Zsofia that are perfect for sending smiles to someone special!

To create these beautiful cards, Zsofia paired prints from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad with coordinating flower stamps from our Daffodils Stamp Set and Dainty Daisies Stamp Set! It's so fun how the stamps and papers match up perfectly!

First we are sharing her daisy card. For this card she stamped the image of flowers from the Dainty Daisies Stamp Set. She added some color to the flowers with alcohol markers and cut it out using the coordinating Dainty Daisies Die Set. 

She framed the image with a frame cut from green cardstock using our Framework Die Set. She added a rectangle of vellum behind the frame and then layered it over the daisy printed paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad. She also used our Framework Die Set to cut out the daisy paper, adding a fun postage stamp edge.  The finishing touch is the sentiment "Hope your day is as special as you are" from the Dainty Daisies Stamp Set, embossed in white on a black rectangle. 

Next, she created a second floral card using the same design but this time using daffodils. 

For this card she stamped the main image using the flowers from our Daffodils Stamp Set. 

She again colored the flowers and cut them out using the coordinating Daffodils Die Set. Again she She framed the image with a frame using our Framework Die Set and added a rectangle of vellum behind the image.  This time she used the daffodil paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad. Again, she cut out the paper using the large postage edged die from our Framework Die Set.  She used the same sentiment from the sentiment Dainty Daisies Stamp Set, embossed in white on a black rectangle. 

Which flower is your favorite? It's hard to choose as both cards turned out beautifully! 

You could also make this design using our Spring Blooms Paper Pad with our Tulips Stamp Set or our Lilac Stamp Set since the paper pad has tulips and lilacs too!

Spring Blooms by Tina Herbeck

Fabulous Florals!

Today we are sharing an incredible floral card by Tina that is filled with gorgeous florals. 

To start out, she stamped and embossed the big oval image from our Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set. This fun oval has tulips and daffodils all around the edge. After embossing it in white, she colored the blooms in shades of white, yellow and purple for a stunning effect. The oval image was cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set to give it that lovely scalloped edge. She then carefully cut out the center so she could use the image as a frame for her shaker card.  Behind the sequins and butterfly embellishments in the shaker window she tamped the "thinking of you" message from the Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set. 

Here is a close up so you can see how awesome this looks!

For the background, she cut a panel of floral paper from our new Spring Blooms Paper Pad that perfectly frames the shaker image. The colors of the flowers coordinate perfectly with the coloring she did! What a gorgeous card for spring!

Birthday Party Favors by Ellen Haxelmans

Kitty Themed Birthday Party!

Today Ellen has created a fun set of projects that are PURR-fect for kitty themed birthday party! 

First, she decorated two party hats using our cute birthday themed cat images.  The hat on the left uses the image of a kitty eating birthday cake from our Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set. The hat on the left uses the image of the kitty opening gifts from our Newton's Birthday Bash Stamp Set. She colored both images with alcohol markers, adding tiny spots for details and pink cheeks. Then she cut the images out using the coordinating Newton Loves Cake Die Set and Newton's Birthday Bash Die Set. She also added hats and bits of confetti from the Newton Celebrates Stamp Set and Newton's New Year Stamp Set. 

She layered all the pieces over a circle that was cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set and adhered them to the fronts of the birthday hats!

Next, she created a fun birthday banner:

For the banner she used the cupcake with a bite cut out of it from the Bleat Stamp Set. Then she added the cupcakes to banners cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. For the center, she cut out another circle using our Circle Frames Die Set and added the "Did someone say CAKE?" message from our Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set, embossed in gold! 

Who needs to go to the party store when you can create your own custom party decorations!? So fun!

Taco Tuesday Card by Amanda Wilcox

Taco Tuesday!

Love Tacos? Then you will love this card by Amanda!

This adorable taco themed card features the kitty wearing a taco from our Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set. Isn't he adorable? Amanda colored the kitty in neutral gray tones and added little speckles for detail. She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton Loves Tacos Die Set. 

Next, she cut out a scallop edged rectangle using our Framework Die Set. She stamped the small taco cat image, also from the Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set repeatedly over the background with orange ink. She layered her colored image over this panel using dimensional adhesive and she stamped the sentiment "Live every day like it's Taco Tuesday!" below the kitty.  A couple of clay heart embellishments add a finishing touch. So cute!

For the card base she used orange distress ink to color her card base, adding water splotches for texture. 

What a fun and simple card! This would be so great to send to a friend as an invite to a taco night!

Mushroom Birthday Card by Maria Russell

Mushroom Birthday Card!

This fun belated birthday card by Maria is sure to make you smile! She used our Fabulous Fungus Stamp Set to create a fun birthday greeting with a mushroom theme. 

She started by stamping the mushroom images from the Fabulous Fungus Stamp Set along the edge of her card panel on all four sides. She used a light ink color for her stamping and then added neutral brown and pink tones to the mushrooms with watercolors.  She added hand drawn dots all around them for a fun and whimsical look.

In the center she stamped the sentiments "Oh, Shiitake! I missed your birthday!" from the Fabulous Fungus Stamp Set. What a fun birthday pun and a great way to send a belated birthday wish!

Congrats on Your New Home Card by Jennifer Jackson

Happy New Home!

Hello! Jen here today and I'm sharing a fun card that I created for a friend who recently moved into a new home! My friend also has several kitties so I thought it would be purr-fect to create a card using our Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. 

I started by stamping the images of kitties playing in boxes from our Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set onto Bristol paper. Then I colored the kitties and boxes using zig watercolor markers. I cut the images out using the coordinating Newton Loves Boxes Die Set. 

Next, I knew I wanted to create a scene for the kitties that looked like it was inside a house. I cut out a stitched rectangle for my scene using our Frames & Flags Die Set and then I masked off the top and added brown ink to make a floor. Next, I used our Serene Stripes Stencil and to add stripes to  the top section of the wall. Doesn't this pattern look a little like it could be wallpaper?

I then arranged all the images over the scene and added the sentiment "congrats on your new home!" onto a white banner that was die cut using our Banner Trio Die Set. 

I framed the whole thing with some heart patterned paper from our Coffee House Stories Paper Pad, cutting it out with our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it a scalloped edge. I love how this turned out and I think the new home owners enjoyed it as well!

Happy PURR-thday Card by Samantha Mann

PURR-thday Wishes! 

Any cat lover would be thrilled to receive this adorable kitty themed birthday card by Samantha!

This sweet card features two kitty images from our Newton's Birthday Bash Stamp Set. Samantha colored both of the kitties in neutral browns and with fun fur patterns. Then she used tones of pink to color the gift boxes, balloon and party hats for a birthday card that's pretty in pink!

For her card base she used our two layer Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set to make a background that is jam packed with pink balloons. She added the kitties in front of the balloons and then added the sentiment "Happy PURR-thday!" from the Heartfelt Meows Stamp Set, embossing it onto a vellum banner that was die cut using our Banner Trio Die Set. 

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, especially for a recipient who loves kitties, pink, or both!!

Meow-ing in the Rain Card by Amanda Wilcox

Meow-ing in the Rain!

Celebrate the rainy days of spring with this adorable card by Amanda!

This adorable spring card features the trio of kitties in their raincoats from our Newton's Rainy Day Trio Stamp Set. Amanda colored this sweet trio in soft spring colors and gave them highlights with a white gel pen. Then she cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Trio Die Set. 

She next created a rainy sky scene fro the kitties using distress inks and our Raindrops Stencil on a white card base. She added a few music notes into the sky, also stamped from the Newton's Rainy Day Trio Stamp Set and cut out with the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Trio Die Set. Then she simply added another strip of white cardstock across the bottom and added the sentiment "MEOW-ing in the rain!" onto it. This sweet card is sure to make any rainy day better!

Easter Blessings Card by Larissa Heskett

Easter Blessings

Today we are sharing a sweet Easter card by Larissa, just in time for the Easter Holiday!

This fun Easter greeting features the big circle image from our Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. Larissa colored all the fun little Easter themed icons in the circle and added white gel pen highlights. She then cut the image out and gave it a fun teal scalloped frame using our Circle Frames Die Set. 

For the background she features the pretty purple floral printed paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad. She cut it to fit just inside her card base and then added some black paint splatters and gems to give a fun bit of extra detail. 

The finishing touch is the sentiment "Easter Blessings" from our Easter Lily Stamp Set, stamped into the lower corner.

Cycling By with a Spring Hello Card by Donna Idlet

Cycling by with a Spring Hello!

Today we are cycling by with a cheerful spring greeting created by Donna! 

She started out by stamping the image the duo riding a bike from our Cycling Friends Stamp Set. She colored the bike in a pretty pink and added flowers to the basket, cutting the images out with the coordinating Cycling Friends Die Set.

Next, she created a fun scene for these friends to cycle through by using our Spring Garden Line Stencil to add a line of pretty tulips. She also a cloudy sky using our Clouds Stencil across the top and added brown ink across the bottom to create the road. The whole scene is framed with a stitched/scalloped edge using the frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set. 

In the sky she added the sentiment "A Happy Spring Hello" using our Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set. As a finishing touch she added butterflies and bees into the sky using the tiny images from our new Spring Haul Stamp Set and cutting them out with the coordinating Spring Haul Die Set.

Birithday Gnome Card by Farhana Sarker

Birthday Wishes with a Gnome 

Today we're sharing a fun card by Farhana that is perfect for sending a unique birthday wish!

For this creative card she paired the image of the gnome sitting on a mushroom from our Gnome Garden Stamp Set with more mushrooms from our new Fabulous Fungus Stamp Set. What a perfect pairing! She colored all the images with alcohol marks and then cut them out using the coordinating Gnome Garden Die Set and Fabulous Fungus Die Set. 

Next, she created a scene for all these images by using our Clouds Stencil and Hills & Grass Stencil with distress inks to create layers of grass and clouds. She cut an oval out of the center of the panel using our Oval Frames Die Set and arranged all the images around the edge. Then she stamped the sentiment from the Gnome Garden Stamp Set inside the oval frame.  What a fun way to add dimension to a scene!
