A Big Cup of Thanks!
Hello! Jen here today with a coffee filled thanks you card! After the holidays I always need a few thank you cards to send family and friends for all the lovely gifts and treats so today I'm sharing a fun thank you card that is quick and easy to make!
For this card I started out by stamping the image of the kitty in the big mug from our Newton's Mug Stamp Set. This is definitely one of my favorite sets because it's so easy to customize! The big mug image is blank and there are several different sentiments that fit on it. Since I needed a thank you card I used "A big cup of thanks" but you could also make this into a fun coffee or tea themed greeting. I colored the image with watercolor markers and used the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set to cut the image out.
I knew I wanted to pair this image with some of the fun papers from our Coffee House Stories Paper Pad so I flipped through the paper pad and found three patterns I liked. I trimmed them to all be 3 1/2" wide so they would fit inside the stitched edge from our Framework Die Set.
Once this fun background was completed I cut two circles from vellum and kraft colored paper using our Circle Frames Die Set and layered those over the patterns with the kitty and mug on the top! The whole thing was layered onto a white card base. This card was super quick and easy to make and is perfect for sending a thank you, especially to someone who loves coffee!
I hope you enjoyed this project today, along with your favorite hot beverage!
Oh so sweet Jen!
