Meowy Christmas!
Today Ellen has created a wonderful cat themed greeting card and coordinating tag! What a PURR-fect way to celebrate the holidays!
For her card she stamped and colored the image of the kitty popping out of the gift box from our Newton's Gift Stamp Set. She gave the kitty fun stripes on his fur and adorable pink cheeks! This image has a blank tag on the front and sentiments that fit it so you can customize your greeting. Ellen chose the sentiment "'tis the season to be meowy." She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Gift Die Set.
For her card base she cut out a piece of pretty plaid paper from our A Cat's Life Paper Pad and framed it with a blue scalloped edge, cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She also cut out a green banner using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She added the kitty image over the banner to help make it pop!
Next, she created a kitty themed gift tag too. For this she used the same green as she used on the card but cut out a tag using our Tags Times Two Die Set. She added the fun decorative tag top, cut from the same patterned paper she used on the card, cut out with our Fancy Edges Tags Die Set. For the image she stamped and colored the cute little kitty from our Purr-fect Present Stamp Set. Isn't it cute how she colored it to match the image on the greeting card!? She cut the image out using the coordinating Purr-fect Present Die Set and added it to her tag.She also added a "to" and "from" onto the back of the tag (stamped using the words from our Newton's Gift Stamp Set).
Isn't it wonderful how everything coordinates perfectly together!? We love the matching patterns and colors on both pieces! To see more creations by Ellen, you can visit her over at her blog Crafty Ellen!

Cute card & Tag. My daughter got a 6 ft Christmas tree this yr and her cat climbed to top. Each time he climbed to top she removed him, took out of rtoom closing door to room. After a couple times the cat figured out if he climbed he would not have access to room. Now he lays under the tree.
