Jenn created a series of gorgeous snowflake cards today!
The holidays are always prettier with a bit of snow, especially when it colored in bold and bright colors like on this cards by Jenn today! She created this gorgeous series of snowy cards using our Snowflake Oval Stamp Set with a watercolor effect! She added multiple colors directly to the stamp and then spritzed it with water before pressing it onto the paper.
What a gorgeous look! Every card is truly unique and beautiful, just like real snowflakes!
She also created a second variation! This time she stamped the big snowy oval from the Snowflake Oval Stamp Set in silver and then added the colors directly over the top, loosely watercoloring them for a beautiful effect!
Inside each snowflake frame she stamped the sentiment "May your Holidays be filled with sparkle & shine" from the Snowflake Oval Stamp Set. And each snowy oval cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set. She framed each one with a glittery silver scalloped oval (also cut using our Oval Frames Die Set) for a bit of sparkle! A few gems in each corner add the perfect finishing shine!
Wow! What a great way to create a series of cards that is both simple and stunning! We hope you are inspired to try this techinque. Make sure you visit Jenn over at her blog for more details.
Don't forget, Jenn will be back for our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws blog hop on Friday, December 9th. Until then, you can visit her at her blog, Shurkus.com to read more about her adorable projects and say hello!
