Fa-La-La-La Llama Card by Amanda Wilcox

Holiday Llama Card

This holiday card by Amanda will get you in the mood to sing Christmas tunes! 

To create this adorable card she features the image of the holiday llama from our Llama Delivery Stamp Set. She colored the llama in soft holiday colors and added fun accents using a white gel pen. The image was cut out using the coordinating Llama Delivery Die Set. 

Next, she created a fun wreath to surround the llama. For the wreath base she cut out a circle using our Circle Frames Die Set from kraft colored paper. She added music notes to the circle using our Music Stencil. Then she cut out lots of branches in using two shades of green paper with our Pines & Holly Die Set and adhered them all around the edge of the circle to create a wreath shape. She also cut out the bow and pinecones using the same Pines & Holly Die Set and placed them onto the wreath as well. 

She tucked that cute llama into the wreath and added the "Fa-la-la-la-llama" words stamped onto a speech bubble above his head. The speech bubble was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. So cute! 

This whole wreath was then layered over a teal and blue inked card base. Some paint splatters add a fun and creative detail to the background too!

Squeak-sons Greetings Holiday Mouse card by Maria Russell

Peace & Joy

Today Maria has created an adorable mouse themed slimline card that is filled with holiday fun!

Maria stamped the adorable trio of mice on this card using our  Naughty or Mice Stamp Set. She colored them using a vibrant holiday color palette filled with teals and reds. The images were cut out using the coordinating Naughty or Mice Die Set.

For her card base, she created a fun slimline layout. She cut a white scallop edged layer using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set for the base and layered the long red frame with three windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set over the top. Inside each window she created a little scene by ink blending a sky in a different colors and layering a white snow over the top. The snowy hills were cut out using our Land Borders Die Set and she added starry details to the sky with a white gel pen. 

For a finishing touch she added a glittery red bow to the top, cut out using the bow from our Pines & Holly Die Set. She also added the sentiment "SQUEAK-sons greetings!" embossed in white on to a piece of black card stock and cut out by hand.

Here Comes Santa Paws Card by Zsofia Molnar

Here Comes Santa Paws!

Newton is so adorable dressed as Santa on a rooftop on this adorable card by Zsofia! 

For this fun and festive card she features the image of Newton in his Santa costume, reading his Christmas list from our Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set. She also stamped and extra mouse to perch on his head and the bag full of gifts from the same stamp set. She colored all the images in holiday colors, adding details with  glossy accents and glitter. The images were cut out using the coordinating Santa Paws Newton Die Set.

For the card base, she created a rooftop scene. First she ink blended a blue sky with distress inks, adding lots of splatters for snow. Next, she cut layers of scalloped edges using the border die from our Sky Borders Die Set from red paper. She inked the edges for a distressed look and then layered them all together to create a red rooftop. She added the kitty, mice and bag of gifts onto the rooftop.

The finishing touch is the sentiment "Here comes Santa Paws" from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set. She stamped it onto a thought bubble from our Speech Bubbles Die Set and added it to the sky.

Hello again! Jen here again today and I created this fun card to celebrate being fabulous! I know this is how you will feel when you've got your holiday shopping done, gifts wrapped and cards made! 

Today we're celebrating being fabulous with the image from our Christmas Haul Stamp Set! This image features a lady who has her holidays all set! Her arms are laden with wrapped gifts and a holiday wreath. I colored the image using and a few small gift images from the set with watercolor markers and then cut them out using the coordinating Christmas Haul Die Set! I added the images over a couple of circles that were die cut with our Circle Frames Die Set. I layered it onto the red card base along with some pretty patterned paper from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. The paper filled with gifts works perfectly with this image! The sentiment, also from the Christmas Haul Stamp Set, was embossed right onto the card base in the lower corner.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jen here today (owner of Newton's Nook Designs with my husband Jeff) and we want to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday! This holiday season is a time to reflect and appreciate all you are thankful for and we want to let you know that we are so thankful for YOU, all of our AMAZING customers and fans! Today I have created a Thanksgiving card featuring our  Newton's Cornucopia Stamp Set. I just love this image of the kitty peeking over the cornucopia filled with fall goodness! I colored the image using watercolor markers and then cut it out using the coordinating Newton's Cornucopia Die Set. 

I layered this cute image onto two circles that I die cut using our Circle Frames Die Set. For that awesome plaid background, I used a piece of patterned paper from our Autumn Paper Pad. It's so much fun to add patterns using our papers and so quick and easy too! I added the sentiment "happy Thanksgiving" (also from the Newton's Cornucopia Stamp Set) embossed in white onto a brown banner that I cut out with our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Joyful Tidings Snow Globe Card by Tina Herbeck

Joyful Tidings!

Today we are spreading joy with an adorable snow globe card by Tina!

To create this adorable card, Tina first stamped the image of the snowman from our Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set. She colored the snowman in cheerful colors, giving her a pink and white scarf, hat and mittens! She cut the image out using the coordinating Snow Much Cheer Die Set.

Next, she cut out a snow globe using our our Snow Globe Shaker Die Set. She used white paper for the top and a shimmery sliver paper for the bottom piece! She also cut out some of the tiny snowflake shaker shapes from a sparkly white paper. 

For her card base she ink blended a panel using blue distress inks, leaving the edges darker and the middle lighter to showcase the snow globe. She also added a texture of tiny snowflakes using our Petite Snow Stencil with texture paste. She left a spot near the top to stamp the message "joyful tidings" from the Heartfelt Holidays Stamp Set. Then she assembled all the pieces together, adding some die cut snowflakes inside the globe and some in the sky! 

This magical greeting would be so fun to receive this holiday season!

Magical Snow Globe Card by Zsofia Molnar

Merry Christmas!

There is something so magical about a snow globe during the holidays! Zsofia captures that magic on this beautiful Christmas card today! 

For this gorgeous card she first created a snowy circle using the big snow filled circle image from our Snowfall Roundabout Stamp Set. She stamped the image with Versamark ink and embossed it in white. Then she ink blended soft blues over the top. She cut the image our using the large stitched circle die from our Circle Frames Die Set.  She next stamped the image of the horse and carriage from our Winter Memories Stamp Set and cut it out using the coordinating Winter Memories Die Set. Before adding this image to the circle she also cut out a snowy hill using our Land Borders Die Set to cut out a hill from glittery cardstock. Then she added this image the horse and carriage on top. To make this all into a snowglobe she added the bottom from our Snow Globe Shaker Die Set, cutting it from a shiny silver paper. So pretty! The sentiment was stamped into the sky, using a phrase from our Winter Memories Stamp Set.  What a gorgeous combination of images!

To complete the card, she cut out a scalloped rectangle using our Frames & Flags Die Set. Then she layered it over a piece of peppermint striped paper from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. The sentiment "Merry Christmas" was added to the bottom from our Heartfelt Holidays Stamp Set.

Dachshund Through the Snow Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Dachshund Through the Snow!

Today we are Dachshund through the snow with the adorable dachshund puppy on this holiday card by Ellen! 

For this card she features that cute puppy wearing a sweater from our Holiday Hounds Stamp Set and pairs it with patterned papers from our A Dog's Life Paper Pad and Canine Christmas Paper Pad! She colored the puppy in colors that coordinate with the papers and added him onto her card using a tag that was created with our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set! What a fun pairing of dies, papers and stamps! Everything coordinates perfectly and has a fun and festive holiday feel! Read below for details on how to create this fun card!

Here is a quick tutorial  from Ellen on how to create this card:

• (Left photo above): Cut out a red frame from the biggest die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. Next, cut out a rectangle with paper from the A Dog's Life Paper Pad and attached it with roller tape onto the red frame.
  
  
• (Center photo above): Create a tag with the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set using pattern paper from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad and green and brown paper. To get the scalloped edge, cut out the tag out of brown paper and then cut it again with the scalloped edge die from the tag set.
  
  
• (Right photo above): Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Hounds Stamp Set with green ink onto on the speech bubble (cut out using the Speech Bubble Die Set). Stamp the dachshund from the olor the dachshund from the Holiday Hounds Stamp Set and cut out using the Holiday Hounds Die Set. Color with Copic Markers. Ellen used the following colors: Brown: E35, E33, E31, Red: R39, R37, R46, Green:YG25 YG07 YG01, White: B000, 0

Hug in a Mug Card by Larissa Heskett

Hug in a Mug!

Newton is getting ready for a cozy holiday on this card by Larissa! 

To create this gorgeous card she started by stamping the images of the big kitty in the mug from our Newton's Mug Stamp Set and two smaller holiday mugs from our Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set. She colored all three images in gorgeous bright holiday colors and added white gel pen details to each image. The images were cut out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set and Cup of Cocoa Die Set.

She also added in two tiny candy canes a holly burst from our A Kitten Christmas Stamp Set (cut out using the coordinating A Kitten Christmas Die Set) to add to the festive feeling!

The images were all arranged on a circle that was cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad.

For the fun case base, she created a background pattern by repeatedly stamping the mug images from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set in black and adding black paint splatters. Some pretty red, green, and snowflake shaped embellishments finish out this amazing card!

A Cup of Cheer Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Cheers to the Hot Chocolate!

You are in for a tasty treat today as we feature a yummy hot chocolate themed card by Tatiana!

To create this delicious card, she stamped a bunch of hot cocoa mugs using our Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set. This set features a variety of pretty winter and holiday mugs, filled with whipped cream, chocolate and candy canes! She colored the images in bright festive colors and added white gel pen accents and sparkle to them too! She cut the mugs out using the coordinating Cup of Cocoa Die Set. 

For her card base, she inked a panel with shades of blue across the top and added sparkly stars using our Starfield Stencil with some shimmery texture paste! What a gorgeous effect! Here is a close up so you can see all the shimmer and sparkle:

Sweet Holiday Kitty Card by Donna Idlet

Peppermints + Kitties!

Today Donna has created a card that includes two of our holiday favorites: sweet peppermints and kitties! 

In the card center she features an image of Newton candy cane and some peppermint candies from our Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set. She colored the images in bright holiday colors and added glitter to the white portions of the Santa hat for a fun bit of sparkle! She cut the images out using the coordinating Newton's Candy Cane Die Set. 

For the card base she chose the paper from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad that features the same candy cane kitty image and cut a piece to fill the card front. She layered a vellum oval over the center, cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set. The message "Wishing you a SWEET holiday!" from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set was embossed onto the oval. She also added a couple of pine boughs to the top of the oval, cut out using our Pines & Holly Die Set, for a festive touch!

Isn't it fun how the stamped image coordinates purr-fectly with the paper? There are so many fun paper patterns like this that match our stamps! Make sure to look through and find your favorite pairings!

Clean & Simple Christmas Home Card by Farhana Sarker

Home for Christmas! 

Today we are sharing a clean and simple card by Farhana that reminds us of heading home for the holidays!

For this sweet and simple card, she started out by coloring the image of the house and trees laden with snow from our Holiday Home Stamp Set. This set also features a cluster of trees with snow on them and she stamped and colored that image twice so she could layer one on either side of the house. She used our Holiday Home Die Set to cut out the images. 

Here is a look at the copic colors she used: 

For the message she stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set, embossing it in white onto a piece of black cardstock and cut around the edge by hand. 

She also addedd a beautiful snowy texture on her card base. To create this she used our Petite Snow Stencil and dry embossed it using a die cutting machine. This really adds a subtle, yet stunning effect to this clean and simple card!

Merry Little Cocktails Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Merry Little Cocktails

Today we are getting ready to raise a glass and say cheers with this adorable holiday card by Ellen! 

For this festive card she featured two of the fun holiday drinks from our Christmas Cocktails Stamp Set. She colored the drinks in fun bright colors and used the coordinating Christmas Cocktails Die Set to cut the images out. 

For her card base she created a beautiful patterned background by layering colors using our Argyle Stencil Set and Plaid Stencil Set together. Since both of these stencils include two pieces, there are tons of options for creating patterns. She used both pieces from the Plaid Stencil Set, using blue ink on one layer and green on the other. Then she used just the stitched diamond layer from the  Argyle Stencil Set to add a gorgeous red glittery stitched pattern! So pretty!

She cut this panel into a square and layered it onto a square card base. Then she cut more decorative squares using our Frames Squared Die Set with kraft colored and vellum paper. 

The finishing touch is the sentiment, "Have yourself a Merry little Cocktail" from theChristmas Cocktails Stamp Set. She added this message,  embossed in white onto a banner that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.
