Taco Tuesday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Taco Tuesday Every Day! 

Every day should be Taco Tuesday! Today Tatiana is back with a card that celebrates tacos any day of the week!

For this card, she repeatedly stamped the image of the tiny taco shaped like a cat from our new Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set. She colored the images and cut them out using the coordinating Newton Loves Tacos Die Set. Then she arranged the images onto her white card base, placing them in different directions in a grid pattern. She used dimensional adhesive to adhere them and added sequins in fun coordinating colors. 

For the sentiment, she stamped "Live every day like it's Taco Tuesday!" from the Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set, embossing it in white onto a black banner that was cut using our Bookmark Die Set.

Meow-garitas Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

  

MEOW-garitas! 

Today we are sharing MEOW-garitas with Newton on this fun card by Tatiana!

For this card, She started with the image of the kitty with the margarita from our new Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set. She colored the image, adding fun stripes to the fur and glitter to the edge of the glass to look like a salt garnish! She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton Loves Tacos Die Set. 

Next, she stamped a second margarita, this time using our Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set. She colored it to match the first margarita, again adding the sparkle for the edge of salt. This image was cut out using the coordinating Cocktail Mixer Die Set.

To add to the fun lime theme, she added big fruit slices using images our Lemon Twist Stamp Set. She colored the slices green instead of yellow to make them into limes! She cut these out using the coordinating Lemon Twist Die Set.

For her card base she created a fun lime green to pink gradient using distress inks and then added sun rays over the top using our Sunscape Stencil with glittery texture paste. She added all the fun images over the background and added a few sequins too. The sentiment "Let's get Meow-garitas!" from the Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set is the purr-fect finishing touch!

Treeline Stencil Card Duo by Zosfia Molnar

Birthday Wishes!!

Today we are sharing a duo of spring tree Birthday cards by Zsofia that is quick and easy as well as beautiful!

For these cards she used our new Treeline Stencil on a white panel to create fun rows of trees. This stencil includes three rows that can be layered over each other (tree trunks, tree tops and tree leaves). For her cards Zsofia created two versions, one with shades of green and one with shades of pink! How fun!

Here is a look at the green version:

To add the sparkly leaves she used a glittery texture paste. What a fun effect! Then she simply stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday" from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set along the bottom of the row of trees. She layered this onto her card, framing the top and bottom with a thin strip of brown cardstock and a thicker strip of green striped paper that was cut from our Springtime Paper Pad.

And here is a look at the pink version:

Everything is the same except the colors that she used. This time she used sparkly pink texture past along with pink ink for the sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. She again framed the top and bottom of the row of trees with a thin strip of brown cardstock. This time she used pink striped paper from our Springtime Paper Pad.

Green or Pink? Which do you prefer? It's hard to pick a favorite as both cards are gorgeous! You could make this card in any color. Wouldn't it be fun to choose the favorite color of the person you would be sending the card to?

Summer Birthday Gift Card Holders by Farhana Sarker

 

Birthday Sprinkles! 

Today we are sharing a fun way to create custom birthday gift card holders by Farhana! These fun gift card holders with ice cream on top are sure to make the recipient smile on their special day!

For these fun gift card holders she used pretty patterned papers from our Springtime Paper Pad, for the pretty gift card holder bases. Then she decorated the tops with an ice cream theme with images from our Summer Scoops Stamp Set. She stamped and colored various ice cream and popsicle images from the set, coloring them in bright and cheerful colors and cut them out using the coordinating Summer Scoops Die Set. She layered them over a rectangle of vellum and then added them to the tops of her gift card holders.

She also stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday with Sprinkles on top!" embossing it in white on black cardstock and hand cutting around it to add onto her cards. 

This adorable set of gift cards is perfect for celebrating special birthday gifts!

Meow-garitas Anyone? Card by Donna Idlet

 

MEOW-garitas!

Today we are having a party, complete with "Meow-garitas!"  with this adorable card by Donna! 

For this fun celebratory card Donna used the kitty drinking a margarita from our new Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set. She colored the kitty gray and the margarita blue and a slice of lemon! Doesn't that look yummy!? She also colored a birthday hat, adding sparkly glitter to it to add to the celebratory feel! The images were cut out using the coordinatingNewton Loves Tacos Die Set. 

For her card she started with a white card base and added a colorful plaid paper stripe up the side using a paper from our Springtime Paper Pad and a thin strip of blue cardstock. Then she created a blue circle in the center of the card, the perfect place for the image to be featured! To create this inked area she cut a circle out of a piece of paper using our Circle Frames Die Set and used the negative shape left when cutting out a circle as a mask, inking the center. You could also use our Slimline Masking Circles and Squares Stencil Set which makes masking shapes like this easy! 

To finish this fun and festive card she stamped the "Let's get Meow-garitas!" sentiment below the image and a few fun enamel dots to match the blue color theme!
