Summer Moments Card by February Guest Designer Jennifer Ingle

Hello, folks!
Today is my final post as guest designer and I have had an absolute BLAST working with these fabulous stamps, dies, and stencils! I have been a Newton's Nook Dedsigns fan from Day 1 and I am quite certain that will never change!

For today's card, I pulled out the gorgeous Summer Moments Stamp Set once again. I kept this one fairly simple; stamping on watercolor paper and then painting the image with watercolors. I can't wait to have my toes in the sand again!

I mounted the stamped and painted panel on a kraft card base and added just a bit of iridescent string to the top and a few sequins for a touch of shimmer. This one just makes me want to take that deep breath. Inhale, Exhale, breath.

Poinsettia Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Poinsettia Christmas

It's never too early to think about Holiday crafting! If you like to get a jump start on holiday cards, this card by Ellen is sure to give you some inspiration! She even used some retiring products that are on sale right now, a great incentive to go shopping and get ahead on Holiday cards!

This lovely card features the pretty flowers from our retiring Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She colored the beautiful cluster of floral blooms in traditional colors and used the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set to cut it out. She also colored and cut out a bunch of extra leaves and holly that she placed around the bottom of the image. 

For the fun circle card shape, she used our Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the layers of circles. On the center layer she added a fun tree pattern using our retiring Tiny Trees Stencil. The "Merry Christmas" sentiment was stamped from the The Nutcracker Squeak Stamp Set and added above the image. So fun and festive!

Graduation Card by Samantha Mann

Congratulations to a Graduate! 

Today we have a fun congratulations by Samantha that is perfect for a graduate! 

For this creative card she used the image of the kitty in the suitcase from our retiring Stowaway Newton Stamp Set. She colored the image in gorgeous watercolors and cut it out using the coordinating Stowaway Newton Die Set. Next, she added a graduation hat from our Newton's Graduation Stamp Set. So cute! 

For the card background she created a fun woodgrain pattern using our Hardwood Stencil (also retiring) along the side with some metallic gel. She layered the kitty image over the pattern and added the fun  sentiment from our Newton's Graduation Stamp Set into a blue speech bubble over the kitties head. The speech bubble was die cut using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. The finishing touch is the "Congratulations" sentiment, which was embossed in white onto the skinny banner from our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set. What a fun way to celebrate a graduation!

Galloping By Birthday Card by Amanda Wilcox

Galloping By...

Today we are heading to the stables with this adorable birthday cad by Amanda! For her card she is featuring the horse from our retiring Neigh Stamp Set. She colored this duo of ponies in gorgeous neutrals, adding fun pattern spots to their coats. The images were cut out using the coordinating Neigh Die Set. 

She layered this pretty duo of horses onto a tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. Some blue ink applied to the background sets the scene and coordinates perfectly with the ribbon!

For the card base, she created a beautiful woodgrain background using our Hardwood Stencil. She applied transfer paste to the pattern and then used applied the flock texture using a laminator. So cool! She cut the panel out to give it a fun postage edge using our Framework Die Set. 

All that is left is to add the sentiment! She used several words from the Neigh Stamp Set, embossing them in white on black strips and arranged them around the card! What a fabulous layout!

Newton's Picnic Card by Maria Russell

It's a Good Day for a Picnic! 

We hope that today's card by Maria will inspire you to have a good day! Today she created an adorable picnic scene featuring our retiring Newton's Picnic Stamp Set. Isn't it so cute how that kitty has his rear sticking out of the picnic basket while he dives in to find all the goodies? She colored this adorable image and used the coordinating Newton's Picnic Die Set to cut it out. 

For her card base she created a circle window to hold the scene and inked a blue sky background. She also added birch trees using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set and a layer of grass using our Land Borders Die Set. This is the perfect woodsy setting for the picnic image. She also added some ants trailing off the side and the sentiment "It's a good day to have a good day" from our Woodland Picnic Stamp Set (also retiring). The simple white card base really lets this scene pop!

A Brew-tiful Day Card by February Guest Designer Jennifer Ingle

Hello, folks! 

I am super excited to be here today with my third card to share with you all! So, before we had a child my husband and I were not huge coffee drinkers. We went without a coffee pot for a very long time, but eventually did end up buying a Chemex because we wanted to use it occasionally and it is SO gorgeous and makes SUPER delicious coffee. Also, they are a Massachusetts based company, which makes my heart happy. And then... we had a kid. We drink a lot more coffee. Like... a LOT. more. coffee. But, alas, we still adore that Chemex and it is still the only coffee maker we own. 

Which is why when I saw the Time For Coffee Stamp Set I got VERY excited! It's my coffee pot!!! YAY!!!!

Naturally, I had to use that stamp to create a super fun coffee card. I also pulled in the Argyle Stencil Set to create a coordinating border to ground out the design. I love that creamy tan color with the red over it! It just pops and the stencil set made it so easy to achieve that look! 

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on a simple cardstock strip to finish off the design. 

Now, I need a cup of coffee. You should have one, too!

For her first card she colors all the adorable dog images from the Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set and adds a trio of them to her simple 5x7 card base. To create the trio of die cut windows she used our A7 Frames & Banners Die Set with blue cardstock and a stripe patterned paper from our Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. Next, she creates a slimline card featuring the colorful birds from the Toucan Party Stamp Set, adding each bird into the trio of circle frames that was cut using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She adds a tropical background to the green panel by repeat stamping the tropical leaf stamp for a fun pattern. Detailed product list below.

Farhana created a Valentine card set featuring our retiring Love Bites Stamp Set:

For this adorable set of cards she stamped and colored each food couple from the Love Bites Stamp Set and paired them together over hearts cut out using our Heart Frames Die Set. She adds the coordinating sentiment under each pair and layers them over more hearts that were stenciled onto the white card bases using our Petite Hearts Stencil! So cute!
