1st Grade Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Ready for 1st Grade!

Today we have a wonderful school themed card by Tatiana. She created this card to send to a family member who is starting first grade this year! What a wonderful way to celebrate such a fun milestone!

She began by creating a chalkboard by cutting a square with our Frames Squared Die Set from black cardstock and adding white ink smudges over it to look like chalk. Over this she added the custom sentiment "1st grade 2021" by cutting letters and numbers out using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. 

To add to the school theme, she used the image of Newton with the globe from our Newton’s Graduation Stamp Set . She also added books and an apple from our Classy Teachers Stamp Set and pencils using a little image from our Newton’s Crafty Cardio Stamp Set! Such a fun way to combine all of these sets! She colored the images in fun primary colors and then added details to the kitty, giving him a fun striped fur pattern! The images were all cut our with the coordinating Newton’s Graduation Die Set, Classy Teachers Die Set, and Newton’s Crafty Cardio Die Set. 

On the gray background panel, she also stamped some of the smaller images from our Classy Teachers Stamp Set to make a soft pattern! 

 

We often celebrate graduations but this fun card today reminds us that starting a new year is a reason to celebrate too!
