Hey there! It's Tricia here with you today to share a Valentine's Day card using the Love Owl-ways stamp set.
I decided to make a slimline card and started with a panel of pink cardstock that is 3.5 inches by 7.75 inches. I used the
Gingham Stencil and embossed it with my die cutting machine onto the pink panel leaving about 2.5 inch space at the top. I then shifted the stencil over a row of the gingham and ink blended with some light pink ink. This added some more dimension to the panel and made it pop up a little more from the card. You can see it more in the photo below.
I stamped three of the owl images and some hearts from the
Love Owl-ways Stamp Set and then colored with my Copic markers. I trimmed them down and then added to the card panel. These owls are just adorable!
I added a die cut scalloped panel and heart to the top of the card. I stamped a sentiment from the
Love Owl-ways Stamp Set in hot pink ink. To finish off the card I added some clear sparkle and some highlights with a white gel pen. This card will fit perfectly into a business size envelope! The finished size is 3.75 inches by 8 inches.
