Hello Crafty Friends!
It's Lori here today with my last post as NND February Guest Designer!
I have really enjoyed myself this month with these adorable stamp sets, just so much fun!
Today I'm using the Love Quarry Stamp Set, which I created as a masculine card! Perfect for the man in your life and not just for Valentine's Day!
This is such a fun stamp and I got a kick out of this sentiment that went along with the cement truck!
I began my card by stamping the images on #80 Neenah Desert Storm cardstock using Hero Arts Intense Black ink. I love how Copic coloring looks on this cardstock. After coloring the images I outlined them with a W4 and W3 Copic marker.
I die cut my panel with a rectangle die and thought that adding layers would give the card some visual interest. So I die cut a larger navy blue panel and an even larger panel with more of the Neenah Desert Storm. I adhered the first two panels using liquid glue, one on top of the other onto a navy blue A2 sized card base. I popped up the Copic colored panel with foam tape and wrapped orange twine around the panel and tied a bow. This is the twine we receive in our orders from NND.
To finished my card I added white highlights with a Gelly Roll pen and a little shimmer with a Nuvo Shimmer pen. And I found matching enamel dots in my stash which made me so happy!
I always try to decorate the inside of card, so I die cut another piece of the Neenah Desert Storm, stamped the three cone images, then adhered it on the inside of the card base. And now my card is complete, I love the way this card turned out!
I would like to thank Newton's Nook for inviting me to guest Design for February, I really had a ton of fun!
Thanks for stopping by today and have an awesome Monday,
