Beautiful Christmas Card and Gift Bag by Larissa Heskett

Holiday card and Gift Bag Duo

Today Larissa created one amazing patterned background and used it on TWO projects! For the gorgeous background panel she used our Ornaments Stencil with various ink colors and textures.

First she created a card using this fun pattern:

She used the pattern for the background, framing it with a scallop edged frame that was cut out from kraft colored cardstock using our Frames & Flags Die Set.  In the center she added the decorative stitched square shape from our Frames Squared Die Set. She added on some pine branches using our Pines & Holly Die Set. Over this she layered the sentiment "Making Spirits Bright" from our Holiday Fringe Stamp Set, stamping it into a little stitched circle that was die cut using our Frames Squared Die Set. She even added in a tiny red bird, die cut out using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set. So beautiful!

Next, she created a little gift bag:

Again, she used the pattern created with our Ornaments Stencil. This time she cut it into a tag using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. In the center of the tag she added the "happy holidays" sentiment from our Holiday Fringe Stamp Set, stamping it into a little stitched circle that was die cut using our Frames Squared Die Set. A big red bow finishes it off with a festive touch!

Happy New Year Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

The New Year is nearly here!

The holidays are fast approaching and before you know it we will be celebrating the start of the New Year! The duo of friends on this card by Tatiana are ready to help you celebrate! She used the adorable image of the cat and dog bursting open a bottle of champagne from our Newton Celebrates Stamp Set. The image was cut out using the coordinating Newton Celebrates Die Set. She added it to her card along with two champagne glasses stamped from our Newton’s New Year Stamp Set. The glasses were cut out using the coordinating Newton’s New Year Die Set. She also added some gold sequins and confetti the Happy New Year Sentiment to the top! Along the bottom is a strip of glittery confetti created using our Confetti Stencil too! So fun!

Duo of Thank You Cards by Nakaba Rager

A Simple Thank You!

After the holidays are done, it's essential to have a  few thank you cards on hand! Today we are sharing a duo of simple yet fabulous thank you cards by Naki!

For the first card she used our Cascading Stars Stencil using glittery gold paste over  a lovely inked background. She left space at the top of her card to include the word thanks, cut out of gold paper using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. The sparkle makes this simple card so lovely and elegant!



For the second card she used one of the stencils from the two piece Plaid Stencil Set in black over a red card base. Isn't it cool how our  two piece stencil sets are so fun and versatile that they can be layered together or used on their own? She added the word thanks again, cut out using our Essential Alphabet Die Set with black this time and layered it over the pattern. A few gold stars give it a finishing touch!



Both cards would be so quick and easy to create for elegant thank you cards that anyone would love!

Sing a Song of Snowflakes Card by Larissa Heskett

Sing a song of Snowflakes!

This adorable winter card by Larissa will steal your heart! She created this loveable card featuring the owl pair from our Love Owl-ways Stamp Set. This set was designed for Valentine and love themed cards but those sweet birds can really be used any time of year! Here she colored them in shades of brown, adding in lovely textures and pink cheeks. She cut them out using the Love Owl-ways Die Set. She  layered them over a branch that was created from the birch tree die cut on the Forest Scene Builder Die Set. She also adorns the branch with the tiny poinsettia from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set. She created a lovely little cluster of leaves and berries too and cut them all out using the  coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set. She added some beautiful details to the circle of blue sky by adding a subtle music note pattern in the sky using our Music Stencil. Then she added white embossed snowflakes and a black embossed sentiment from the Winter Birds Stamp Set.

Ready, Set, Snow Card by Andrea Shell

Ready, Set, Snow!!

Do you love to play in the snow? The cute pup on this card by Andrea is ready to head out and play on a snowy day! She created this adorable card using the dog wearing a scarf and ice skates from our Winter Woofs Stamp Set. She colored the image and cut it out with the coordinating Winter Woofs Die Set. She created a lovely winter setting for him using our Land Borders Die Set for the snowy hill and our Petite Snow Stencil with glittery paste for the sparkly snowy sky. The whole scene was nestled into the stitched rectangle that was cut out using the shape from our Frames & Flags Die Set. She added the sentiment "ready, set, snow" embossed in white on a black speech bubble from our Speech Bubbles Die Set. The finishing touch is a stripe of red checked pattern in the background that was created using our Gingham Stencil and coordinates so perfectly with the red and black on the doggies scarf!

Sweet Stocking Place Cards by Ellen Haxelmans

A Place for Every Guest!

Today Ellen has made custom place cards for a holiday table! These adorable place cards are perfect to add to each place setting for a special holiday meal! For each card she created a fun layered design using several NND die sets. She created a stitched banner cut out with our Frames & Flags Die Set, a stitched circle cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set, and an adorable little stocking using our Stylish Stockings Die Set. The stocking is just the right size to add on a letter from our Essential Alphabet Die Set to represent the name of the guest who is sitting in that spot!

Here is a second photo showing how she created them in a lime green color combo too.

These adorable place cards are so cute and easy to create but will make each guest at the table feel special! As you can see, she made them using several different letters to represent all the guests! Such a fun idea to make the holidays feel festive!

Eat, Sleep and Be Merry Card by Samantha Mann

Eat, Sleep and be Merry!

The holidays can be so busy and stressful I'm sure we could all use a nap like the sloth on this adorable card by Samantha. She features the sleepy sloth from our Slothy Christmas Stamp Set and colors him with watercolor markers. The image is cut out using the coordinating Slothy Christmas Die Set and then added over layers of snowy hills that were created using our Land Borders Die Set. the sentiment is also from the Slothy Christmas Stamp Set but she masked off the word merry and added it below in a red die cut using our Holiday Greetings Die Set. This gives the card such a fun pop of red and coordinates with the Santa hat perfectly! She also used our Snowfall Stencil
with white texture paste over blue distress inks to create the lovely snowy background!

Oh Deer, Christmas Card by Andrea Shell

Oh, Deer!

Oh Deer! Christmas will be here soon, are you ready? The cute deer on this card by Andrea are ready to send adorable holiday greetings today! She created this darling card using the sweet deer from two different stamp sets. The deer pulling all the gifts on a sled is from our Festive Fawns Stamp Set and the duo of deer on the left are from our Deer Friend Stamp Set. These cuties work perfectly together. She colored all the images and cut them out using the coordinating Festive Fawns Die Set and Deer Friend Die Set. Then she created a fun long format card to showcase this lovely winter scene. She started with a pink sky and added a snowy hill along the bottom using our Land Borders Die Set. Then she added trees that were cut out using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set. She cut the trees out of white paper and then hand colored in the green, leaving portions of the white to look like snow! What a fabulous idea!

Tag Trio and Gift Box by Maria Russell

Special Touches for Holiday Gifts!

Today Maria is sharing two projects that are perfect for adding that special touch to your holiday gifts! First, she created a trio of adorable tags using our Sweater Weather Stamp Set. She stamped the kitty, bunny and fox wearing sweaters from the set and colored them in fun bright pastels. She also added fun details like rosy cheeks on the animals and sparkles on the hats! She used the coordinating Sweater Weather Die Set to cut the images out. Then she created the sweet tags using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set with a mix of gingham and polka dotted papers. This die set is fun because it has several mini borders that you can mix and match to create fun borders and edges for your tags! To finish them off she added the word "joy" die cut out using the bonus words from our Snow Globe Shaker Die Set too! 

Next she created a custom gift box that is perfect for a small and special gift! She used our Naughty or Mice Stamp Set for the image of the mouse opening the present. She colored this sweet image and cut it out with the coordinating Naughty or Mice Die Set. She created a scene for the mouse adding some blue distress inks to the sky.  A snowy hill was added along the bottom, cut out with our Land Borders Die Set. To add to the holiday scene she used the fun bold tree from our Festive Forest Stamp Set, cutting it out with the coordinating Festive Forest Die Set. This tree is the perfect size to match with that little mouse! Such a fun combination of images!

Sparkly Peppermint Card by Zsofia Molnar

Sweet and Sparkly!

Today Zsofia created a holiday card filled with sparkles and sweets!! She used our Peppermint Die Set to cut out three sparkly candies. She used glitter paper in blue, purple and white for the fun die cuts. She added them stacked in a vertical row onto her card, leaving a space for the sentiment between the bottom two. For the message she embossed the sentiment "May your holidays sparkle with joy and happiness" from our Sentiments of the Season Stamp Set, embossed with green embossing powder. She layered this fun panel over a candy filled background paper that coordinates perfectly with the theme!

Here is what I created for the hop today:

Today I created this fun Holiday card using the festive ladies working on Holiday preparations from our Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set. I colored both images using copic markers and used the coordinating Christmas Trimmings Die Set to cut them out. I also cut a white scalloped rectangle using our Frames & Flags Die Set. I added both ladies to this rectangle along with the sentiment. 

For the fun background pattern I used our Ornaments Stencil with white embossing paste over a red paper. I love the color and texture this gives the card! Then I thought it needed a little more pop of color so I cut out a scalloped edge using our Sky Borders Die Set and some teal paper. I added this along the side and finished it off with some white bakers twine. And done! Easier than putting up Christmas decorations, right!?

This adorable card by Barbara will put you in the mood to get out the holiday decorations if you haven't yet! She features the girl carrying the giant box of holiday decorations from our Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set. Her coloring on the image is gorgeous with shadows dimension. She even added little white accents to the lightbulbs and ornaments!  She added a ground and sky for the image and then created a fabulous frame of ornaments all the way around it using the little ornament stamp! What a fantastic idea and so festive!
