Welcome back to my second week of guest designing for Newton's Nook. Thank you for stopping by. Today I'm sharing this sweet, soft card featuring Festive Fawns Stamp Set and dies and the Snowfall Stencil.
This card was inspired by a quilt my coworker is sewing and I loved the color palette so much I had to make a card using it. I started by coloring and die cutting my fawn image. Then stenciled the snowflakes with pink using a blender brush. For that perfect green I ended up ink blending a piece of cardstock and die cutting the circle from that. That looked too plain so I took the snowflake image from the stamp set and stamped it in a darker green all over the circle.
Assembly was simple, popping my snowflake panel up with foam tape on a white card base and adding the green ribbon and bow. Then also popping up the circle with foam tape and the fawn with foam squares. When everything was where I wanted it, I stamped my sentiment in the same pink as the snowflakes in the upper right corner of the card.
For finishing touches, I added glossy accents to the fawn's nose, holly berries, and stripes and dots of packages. I added white gel pen detail around the image and finished with a scattering of pink jelly hearts around the background.
I love the images in the Festive Fawns Stamp Set. They are the perfect size to stand alone on a card but also small enough to put together or even mix with other stamp sets. And they are so fun to color!
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
