All week long both design teams will be sharing ways to add fun foils and more to your cards using Therm O Web products with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win!
Today we are featuring projects by Samantha and Maria!
On her first card Samantha features a cluster of leaves that she die cut using ourAutumn Leaves Die Set. She cut some of them using the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in Sunshine Yellow and Think Pink from Therm O Web. She cut a few more leaves using metallic and polka dotted cardstock and layered them all together on her card. For the little leaves in the background she used our Falling Leaves Stencil along with Deco Foil Metallix Gel in White Pearl from Therm O Web. She finished the card by adding the "truly Grateful" sentiment from our Shades of Autumn Stamp Set.
Samantha also created an adorable sloth Christmas card today. She colored the sloth from our Slothy Christmas Stamp Set and cut the image out using the coordinating Slothy Christmas Die Set. Then she created a snowy scene for the sloth to sleep in by cutting out layers of clouds with Sky Borders Die Set and Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in White Latte from Therm O Web. For the starry sky she used our Starfield Stencil paired with the Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in White. Then she added the sentiment from the Slothy Christmas Stamp Set, adding it onto a speech bubble that was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set.
Next, we have a duo of christmas cards and a fun flocked Halloween card by Maria:
For the first card Maria used the cute bunny wearing a sweater from our Sweater Weather Stamp Set. She colored the bunny in red and gray and cut the image our using the coordinating Sweater Weather Die Set. Next she created a fun shaker window for the background adding red foiled trees to the front of the shaker window using the Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets - Oh Christmas Tree from Therm O Web. She heat set the toner sheet with a laminator and Gina K. Designs Fancy Foil in Red Velvet from Therm O Web. She also added a fun flocked snowy hill along the bottom using the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in White Latte and die cut a hill using our Land Borders Die Set.
For the next card Maria used the fox and bear wearing sweaters from our Sweater Weather Stamp Set. Again she colored these cute critters and cut them out using the coordinating Sweater Weather Die Set. To create the snowy scene, she embossed the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in White Latte from Therm O Web with a tree embossing folder. She die cut a hill to go along the bottom using the white flock with our Land Borders Die Set. She also die cut a yellow moon using the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets - Sunshine Yellow from Therm O Web. What a gorgeous winter scene!
Last, Maria created a fun Halloween card using our Happy Howl-oween Stamp Set. She colored the duo of doggies in fun Halloween colors and cut them out using the coordinating Happy Howl-oween Die Set. Then she created a scene for the doggies using several colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets from Therm O Web. She used the Black Velvet, Purple Punch, and Sunshine Yellow to die cut a spooky house in the background. She added layers of dark colored grass using our Land Borders Die Set. She also added a starry sky in the background using our Cascading Stars Stencil along with Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Once the gel had dried she added the shiny blue foil using a laminator with Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in Ocean Blue from Therm O Web. To finish the scene she stamped a bat over the moon from our Witchy Newton Stamp Set and added the "happy haunts" sentiment from our Spooky Street Stamp Set
