2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Here's what I created:

We have several coffee themed designs so it's hard to choose what to work with but I haven't used our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set in awhile so I thought it would be fun to pull it out today.  This stamp with Newton and coffee mugs is one of my favorites and it has the cutest coffee and kitty sentiments too! I started out by stamping the kitty with the big coffee mug and two of the smaller mugs from the set. I colored the images using copic markers, making the kitty orange like our real life kitty, Newton. Once the images were colored I cut them out using the coordinating Newton Loves Coffee Die Set. 

For my card I started with a kraft colored card base and decided to make a cute little scene with the kitty and mugs. I used a piece of dark brown cardstock and grabbed our new Hardwood Stencil and created a fun wood texture with some white embossing paste. I layered this piece along the bottom of the card and added the kitty and mugs on top of it using 3D foam square to give a little dimension. Then I used our new Speech Bubbles Die Set to create a fun big white speech bubble using the border die that's included in the set. I stamped the "I need some coffee right meow" Sentiment onto the bubble and added it to my card. I also added in a bit of lime green twine to give a finishing touch! I love how the stencils and dies make it easy to create simple scenes!
