Happy Birthday from Paradise!

Hello! Jen here today with a fun card using our Paradise Palms Stamp Set! I am just in love with this tropical stamp set and how easy it is to make Clean and Simple cards with it. For my card today I cut out a circle from a piece of scrap paper to use as a template and created a sunset by inking inside the circle with distress oxide inks onto a piece of cream cardstock. Then I stamped the palm trees from our Paradise Palms Stamp Set in front of the sun using black ink. I also added on the little image of birds from the Paradise Palms Stamp Set into the sky. I then took the big "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set and layered that over the sunset too! I love the big bold sentiments in this set and how great they mix and match with our other stamp sets!  

To finish off the card I splattered a little more orange ink and water across the card to give a little bit of extra detail. Then I simply mounted it on a yellow cardstock base and tied a piece of white twine around it! So simple and pretty, don't you think!?

I thought it would be fitting to share this card this week since Jeff and I are out of the office this week seeing a bit of the tropics! It's our first real vacation in several years so I'm super excited! I'm scheduling this post ahead of time but when it goes live I will feel like I'm sharing the tropical weather with all of you!
