Hi Everyone!
For this week’s project I am featuring the Wedding Frills Stamp Set stamp set. This set is gorgeous and it
looks like real lace. I absolutely love
wedding everything and it was fun to make these engagement cards in a vertical
and horizontal design.
For both cards I used a sturdy pink cardstock as the card
front, I prepped the card front with an anti-static powder tool as I will be
white heat embossing the design.
For the vertical card, I used the largest stamp and stamped
all four sides of the card front with Versamark in a random fashion to create a
lace frame. I then stamped out the stamp
that looks like a doily near the top with the sentiment ‘Happily Ever After’ in
the middle.
For the horizontal card, I
stamped out the largest stamp once on the left side with the doily flower in
the middle and then flipped it over and stamped the right side making sure the
doily flower is in the middle as well to create a larger image. I used the “To the happy couple” sentiment
for this card. Once the images were stamped
I embossed them with white embossing powder.
I love how the white looks against the pale pink!
I highlighted the stamped images with adhesive pearls,
placing them as flower centers. I used a
few different sizes to add variety. I
also embellished the card with clear sequins and gold hearts. I added black paint splatter as an added
unexpected embellishment. The card
fronts are now complete and may be added to a standard size card base.
Hope you enjoy these cards, I cannot pick a favorite!
Thanks for stopping by!
