Hello Everyone!!!
I’m so excited to finally be able to share with you all today, that I am the Guest Designer for the month of August at Newton’s Nook Designs!
After seeing this Beautiful Plumage stamp set by Newton's Nook products I could not just stop at just one card. So today I have two card inspirations for you using just that stamp set, Versamark inkpad and Zing gold embossing powder. Lets' take a look.
Process:
Process:
- I started by stamping the peacock image and sentiment from the Newton's Nook Designs Beautiful Plumage stamp set on colored card stock using Versamark ink.
- Then added Zing gold embossing powder to it and heat set it using a heat gun.
- Maroon card: On a separate maroon panel, I did gold heat embossing using just the peacock feather image multiple times on both the vertical borders to add interest.
- Blue card: On a separate beige panel, I swiped Versamark inkpad on the edges and added gold embossing powder to create a gold background.
- Then attached all the layers using glue and foam tape.
- Finished the card by adding colored rhinestones to the peacock feather centers
I absolutely love all then swirl themed stamp sets by Newton's Nook Designs as it reminds me of all the quilling I did in the past!
