I Baked you a Cake from Scratch!

That sentiment  from our Newton Loves Cake stamp set makes me smile!  What a perfect way to send a silly birthday card! For my card today I paired the sentiment with the kitty holding the giant cupcake! Doesn't he look like he's about to lick off the frosting? I colored the image using copic markers and then trimmed it out using the coordinating Newton Loves Cake Die Set. I added it to the a piece of white cards stock with a foam dimensional and added a couple pieces of brightly colored washi tape. 

For the card base, I used a bright yellow cardstock and a piece of bright colored stripey patterned paper from my stash.  I added a doily and some coral and white twine to give it a finishing touch!
