A Pineapple A Day... Card by Holly Endress

Pretty Pineapples

This delightful pineapple card was created by Holly! She used the fun pineapples from our Pineapple Delight stamp set and used distress inks to stamp them! She created a fun watercolor background and then added the sentiment "A pineapple a day keeps the worries away" using gold foil and the Minc machine to give it a special touch! This sentiment is also part of the Pineapple Delight stamp set. She finished off the card with a few sequins to add a bit more sparkle! What a lovely one layer card!

Love Bandits!

Have you checked out our new Woodland Duos stamp set yet? This set is so perfect for creating fun valentine cards! All three of the sweet couples fit inside the big heart in our Darling Hearts die set! For this card I stamped the two cutie raccoons with Archival black ink on watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean color markers. Then I added them to this card along with some strips of simple patterned papers. I added a couple of banners too, stamping the "love bandit" sentiment onto one of them. I always like to refer to raccoons as "bandits" so I couldn't resist adding the "love bandit" sentiment to this set when I designed it! To finish off the card I added some twine and the woodgrain patterned heart, stamped in hot pink ink to give it a fun pop of color!

More Summer fun!

I think our Design Team is ready for warm weather! Today we have another summery card, this time by Ellen! She designed a super fun summer scene using some of our newer sets mixed with some older favorites! She created a grassy picnic featuring the cute Pug from our new our Pug Hugs stamp set! She added a yummy lemonade for the puppy using the mug from the  Freshly Squeezed stamp set and a chocolate covered strawberry from the new Love & Chocolate stamp set. What a fun scene! Then she finished the card off with the "Aloha" sentiment from the Aloha Newton stamp set.

Make Every Day a Beach Day Card by Samantha Mann

A Beach Day in January!

How's the weather where you live? Is your January cold or warm? If you have a cold January this card by Samantha will warm you up today! She used the palm tree image from the Paradise Palms stamp and inked it up in green and brown to create two colors with one stamp! So cool! I love how she added some watercolor splashes for the water and some for the sun too! Then she stamped the word "summer" repeatedly from the Simply Seasonal stamp set in grey and added the "Make every day a Beach Day"  from the Aloha Newton stamp set in black! What a fun summery card. This card makes me want to take a tropical vacation to get away from the cold weather here!

Love and Chocolate card by Juliana Michaels

Love & Chocolate!

If you love chocolates, this card by Juliana will have your mouth watering! She used a bunch of the sweet chocolate shapers from our Love & Chocolate stamp set and stamped them all over the card background along with some little hearts to make a fun pattern! She colored those yummy little bites with Prismacolor pencils to create that lovely soft look! Then she embossed the "All you need is Love and Chocolate" sentiment with white on black paper and added it to her card! She finished it off with some soft pink trim! What a beautiful chocolate card! This card would be great for a Valentine's Day greeting or just to send a chocolate lover any time of year!

Hedgehog Hello by Jennifer Jackson

Happy Hello!

Today I have a happy little hello to share using our Hedgehog Hollow stamp set! This set filled with hedgehogs is just TOO cute! One of my favorite images in this set is the hedgehog in the little teacup! He's just so adorable! I stamped him and colored him with zig clean color markers, then added the "happy little hello" sentiment above him, also from the our Hedgehog Hollow stamp set. I added him on to the card and left it simple, just adding a bit of twine, a doily and some patterned paper from my scraps! Do you find you have a ton of patterned paper you don't use? I'm trying to use up some of mine that I've saved forever!!

Hi, guys! Kevin here! It's time for my final guest post for Newton's Nook! Check it out!

I stamped the background in a soft pink with one of the snowflakes from Beautiful Blizzard. Then I used a die as a backdrop to the most adorable little Newton from the Sweater Weather stamp set. This card by Holly is sure to make the recipient feel special! That kitty delivering the mail from a cute pink mailbox is so sweet! She also added sky in the scene behind him and the little bird from the Raccoon Rascals stamp set. Adorable!

Juliana created this adorable Happy Mail Valentine! I love the added hot pink hearts in the background and those pink letters MUST be love notes!

Tatiana used traditional red, white and blue postal service colors on her card. I love how she created a custom border by drawing stripes on with copic markers! Such a fun idea! 

Larissa also created a Valentine scene using this set! She added a heart onto the mailbox and a big one in the background too (using our Darling Hearts die set). She even stamped onto the envelope! So cute!

I love the steely grays Amanda used on her card. The subtle background papers really make the image pop off the center! That orange kitty is so adorable! He looks just like our real Newton!

This card by Naki is so adorable! I love how she colored that kitty in the mailbox with no-line coloring and watercolors! Then she added some great red and white washi and a created a cute little envelope in the corner too! 

Here is some Happy Mail from Jennifer! The teal and black color combo is so fun and the pop of hot pink letters really adds to the card! Those must be Valentines cards being delivered! She also used the "Special Delivery" stamp on her envelope!

This scene by Maria is so cute! She added the new image of the kitty in the mailbox outside a wall. It's so cute how she added a window with the kitty in a sweater from the Sweater Weather stamp set looking out! Do you think she's waiting for her mail to arrive?

Ellen created such a cute scene for the kitty and the mailbox image! The colors she used are so fun too with a bright yellow mailbox and red letters! Getting this card in the mail would definitely make anyone happy! 

This adorable mailbox card is by Samantha! She created a fun circle scene for the mailbox and cut it out using the coordinating die set to pop it off the card! Isn't it cool how she curved the "special delivery" sentiment around the edge of the circle?

This card by Tatiana reminds me of a fancy chocolate shop! It's so cute how she added all those tasty treats to the treat stand and embellished them with fun white accents! They look so delicious!
