Merry Christmas Card by December Guest Designer Anika Lerche

Hey stampers, Anni here once again.

I am back with my last card as a guest designer for Newton’s Nook Designs. And with Christmas just a few days away I have another Christmas card for you.

For this card I combined the sets Fox Hollow and Holiday Wishes.

I started by stamping all the images on white cardstock. For the colouring I used coloured pencils. Coloured pencils are my favorite colour medium. It takes a while longer to colour with them but I love the details I can add with them. And I find it much easier to blend colours than with Copics. After finishing the colouring I went over the black lines with a fine tip marker to make the lines real black again.

I fussy cut all the images – I am one of the weird people that LOVE to fussy cut.

I cut down two stripes of white cardstock and adhered it with dimensional foam tape to the card base. Then I assembled the card. For the sentiment I used Merry Christmas from the set Holiday Tweets, embossed it in white on aqua cardstock!
