Watercolor Cards!
Today I'm sharing a fun do of watercolored cards I created using our Adventure Awaits stamp set! To create these cards I cut out some squares of watercolor paper and created fun backgrounds using Ken Oliver dry watercolors. I just sprinkled the watercolor powders down on my craft mat, spritzed it with some water and then pressed the paper over them. This is such a fun way to create fun watercolor backgrounds and the colors are super bright! Once the paper was dry, I stamped in black ink over the top using the arrows, feathers and sentiments from our Adventure Awaits stamp set.
Then I created two cards with the same layout. I chose a solid background cardstock that matched the inks, then added a small strip of patterned paper, some matching washi tape and gold and cream bakers twine. One was teal and green and the other was red and pink.
Those backgrounds!!! Beautiful Jennifer!!!!
