Hop to Stop - Blog Hop

Sponsoring the Hop to Stop Blog Hop!

Today we are a sponsor of the awesome Hop to Stop Blog hop! October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and this hop is designed to raise awareness about domestic violence, an issue that impacts 1 in 4 women, and the resources that are available to assist victims of domestic violence. 

To participate in this blog hop, you just have to create a project that features the color purple (which is the domestic violence awareness color).

Here's what I created:

I used our cute kitty from Newton's Birthday Bash and colored him with Zig Clean Color markers, giving him a bright purple balloon. Then I cut him out, using our coordinating Newton's Birthday Bash die set. 

I added some more purple on the card, using a purple cardstock and some purple polka dot paper and bakers twine. I also added in a bit of green to match his hat and a piece of kraft colored paper that I embossed with a paw-print embossing folder! I kept the card base white.
