Birthday Wishes and Snail Mail!

Sweet Birthday pup!

I'm back again today sharing a couple of cards I created with our newest stamp sets! This first card uses our cute Labrador from our new Fetching Friendship stamp set! I had so much fun playing the the little labs in this set - I love how you can put different things on his nose! For this card I added the little gift onto his nose to make a birthday card! Then I added the sentiment "Fetch-ing you a happy birthday!" This card is perfect to send to a dog lover!

I colored this images with inktense pencils and a water brush, adding a bit of green grass for him to hang out in. Then I added some plaid paper, a green doily and some washi and bakers twine to finish out the card! 

For the second card I made I used the sweet little snail from the In Slow Motion stamp set. I colored him with copic marks and then punched him out with a large circle punch. I added him onto this card with some fun geometric patterned papers. Then I decided he needed some grass to slink through so I created a piece by just using a scissors to create slits in a piece of cardstock to look like grass.

I also added some washi tape and bakers twine (my two favorite things to add to ANY card) and a couple epoxy dots. The sentiment "Sending you Snail Mail" is nice because then you can use this card for ANY occasion - or really just to say hello!
