Sweet Treats Blog Hop!
The Newton's Nook Designs Team is hopping along today (along with special January guest designer Tracy Gruber) to share some great Sweet Treats - just in time for Valentines day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!
For my stop on this hop I created a fun little trio of chocolate holders:
I used the cute little animals and saying from the Sweetheart Tails stamp set. I stamped them with black ink on pink cardstock and colored them with colored pencils:
These are really easy to make:
- Start with a piece of cardstock that is 3" x 6 1/4"
- Score in 2 3/4" from the each edge on the long side
- Use a corner rounder to round the corners
- Decorate as you like (I added a little tag too)
- Add in chocolates with strong tape to the inside. I used Ghirardelli minis in mine.
- Use ribbon or twine to close the folder
Hope you enjoyed this project. The next stop on the hop is Taheerah Atchia! Make sure you hop through all the blogs below and comment for a change to win :)
