Happy Halloween! Two Be-witching Kitty Cards!

Happy MEOW-oween! 

Hope everyone has fun plans for Halloween today! We are excited to hand out treats to the kiddos in our neighborhood and see all their fun costumes!  I'd thought I'd take the opportunity today to share a couple more Halloween cards that I made with our fun Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set. For this first card I stamped the cute kitty and pumpkins and then I colored the kitty with copics. I paper-pierced the pumpkins on different orange patterned papers and added them on top. Then I added the cute jack-o-lantern face! I also wanted to use the web and spider so I made a whole row of webs, stamping off the edge of the paper to make a fun spider web border. Then some sequins and ribbon finish it off! So fun! 

This second card also uses the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set. For this first card I stamped the cute kitty and pumpkins on Kraft colored cardstock and the image with with copics, leaving the kraft showing through on the body of the kitty. Then I trimmed out the kitty and added it onto the card. Isn't it cool how that looks?

For the rest of the card, I used a spiderweb embossing folder on some black cardstock and then wiped over it with a towel dabbed with white ink to give it that "spooky" web look. Then I just added some cute pattern papers behind and made a fun little flag with a corduroy button from my stash and some fun lime twine! 

I'm a bit sad that Halloween was over - I had so much fun creating this cute halloween cards. I guess I'm back onto Christmas cards now!

Have a Doxie Xmas!

He he he - this Doxie Scrapbook page by Danielle is SO cute!!  Of, course, being a doxie owner herself she had to get a photo of her cute put in there! She used our new dachshund image from our Holiday Hounds stamp set to create the little gold embossed Doxie - it's a bit hard to see in the photo but it's right underneath the blue letters - so fun! she also used the little bone and snowflake images to create a fun background and if you look close you can see the "have a doxie christmas" sentiment in the lower right corner too!

Sweater Weather Card by Jess Moyer

Happy Sweater Weather! 

The adorable scene on this card by Jess features stamps from several different sets! She used the big "happy" sentiment from the Simply Sentimental and combined it with and the "sweater weather" from the Holiday Hounds. That adorable dachshund image is also, of course, from from Holiday Hounds - and doesn't he look so cute running into that pile of leaves from our Wagon of Wishes set? To finish off the scene, Jess created a bunch of grass using the little grass border from the Wild Child set and the cloud from the Hanging Around set! Wow! That's a lot of combining of images! Great job, Jess, on getting some extra milage out of your stamps!

Foxy Blessings card by Shellye!

I just love the fun fall colors and cute little fox on this card by Shellye!  Do you spy which Newton's Nook Designs stamps she used? She used the "blessings" sentiment and the fun little dotted splotches - both from our Falling into Autumn set. This set has so many fun little bits and pieces - Here's an image of the whole set:

Two Cheerful Cards by Heather Hoffman!

Today I'm showcasing fun designs by October Guest Designer, Heather Hoffman! Heather created TWO more awesome cards using some of our newest stamp sets! The first card (above) features our adorable Bear from our new Winston's Home for Christmas stamp set I love the bright yellow sweater she gave him - such a cheery and unexpected color combo for Christmas! Plus - I love the stippled dot effect she used on the tree and the white dots over the image add such a fun detail! 

The second card features our cute doxie pup donned in his holiday sweater from our Holiday Hounds stamp set. This little guy is so adorable! I love how simple this card is - with bright pops of color on the sweater and the patterned paper! So cute and cozy for the holidays!

Several of our Design Team Members decided to play along -  I just LOVE the assortment of Holiday, Fall and Halloween sparkle they created! Read the description below each card to see who made it!

Our guest designer for October, Heather Hoffman decided to play along with this adorable doxie card- check out the sparkles on the hat and lights! She used our new Holiday Hounds set.

This pretty card by Lydia has a beautiful sparkly moon - She used the cute kitty image from our new Newton's Curious Christmas set. 

Samantha added some bling to her card with those pretty foil snowflakes! She also used our that cute pup in the sweater from our new Holiday Hounds set.

Crafty Math-Chick created this super sparkly Halloween Card! That sparkly orange paper goes perfectly with our little ghost kitty from the Boo Crew Stamp set! 

Jess created this cutie with the sparkly ornaments on the Christmas tree from our Newton's Curious Christmas set! Love the little row of snowflakes with a sparkle in the center too!

Larissa stamped this beautiful row of glittery leaves using the Falling into Autumn Set! So pretty!

Another cute doxie card using our Holiday Hounds stamp set - this one is by Stephanie! She added sparkle to with some pretty tinsel behind the button!

Tessa combined our new "sweater weather" sentiment from the Holiday Hounds set with the "hello" from the Winged Wishes set and the cute basket of yarn from the Basket of Wishes set. Love this combo of fun images and sentiments and the little glittery paper strip!

Danielle created this adorable little treat bag using the the doxie from our Holiday Hounds set - he has such a pretty sparkly teal scarf! 

Here's one by me - I used our sweet snowman from our Frozen Friends set- and gave him a glittery hat. I also added some fun thick glittery ribbon (from the floral section of the craft store) and a bit of sparkly brown twine through the button! 

Now it's your turn - we can't wait to see how everyone blings up their cards with sparkles!!

Embossed Christmas card with Lydia!

I just love it when Design Team members come up with ideas that I never would have! This beautiful card by Lydia  uses the pretty "from our family to yours" sentiment from our Flaky Family stamp set and the cute little holly leaves from our Christmas Delivery set. I love how she stamped that little holly image over and over in rows and created a really beautiful embossed background! What a great idea! and the little gemstones for the holly give it that special finishing touch!

Sandy Snowman for a Beach Christmas Card!

Samantha Mann created this Super fun Beachy Christmas card using Snowmen! I LOVE this idea. Samantha used the cute  snowmen from our new Flaky Family stamp set combined with the sandcastle from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set! She also combined words fromthe two sets to create a custom message - so adorable!! What a great card for those who have sandy instead of "snowy" holidays!!

Two Kitty Christmas Cards on Kraft!

I LOVE kraft paper - and Christmas Kitties!!

Today I'm sharing two cute kitty cards using our brand new Newton's Curious Christmas Stamp set. I'm having SO MUCH FUN with this new set - the images are so fun to color! For these two cards I stamped the images onto Kraft card stock and colored them with colored pencils! I'm just loving how this looks. I especially like how you can add white coloring to really make it pop - like I did on the snowman card - and then I stamped some snowflakes with white ink too.
