Inky Paws Challenge #13 - Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday and the the first day of #13 Inky Paws Challenge!  

This month's challenge is a Sketch Challenge!

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? Several of our Design Team Members and our August Guest Designer decided to play along - Read the description below each card to see who made it!

Jess created these adorable card using the tigers from our Wild Child stamp set.  I love how she created that fun background with the leaves from the Wild Child stamp set and the "xoxo" from the Sweetheart Tails stamp set! 

Samantha created these adorable card using our boatful of gifts from our  SEAson's Greetings stamp set and added some words from our new Simply Sentimental stamp set! Such a fun way to get more mileage our of a holiday set!

Tessa created this fun challenge card using wagon from our Wagon of Wishes stamp set and added the big "thanks" from our new Simply Sentimental stamp set! What a great Fall thank-you card!

Shellye used our new Hanging Around stamp set for her challenge card. I love that cute little squirrel hanging off the edge!

Chitra, our Guest this month, made this adorable card, also with the, too cute for words, squirrel from Hanging Around! He looks so sweet hanging onto the "thanks" from Simply Sentimental! I just love the blues of the sheer ribbons and the umbrellas on the patterned paper! 

And here's one from me. I had to use the Newton's Summer Vacation Set one more time before starting to play with fall stamps! I added some watercolor splashes too - just for fun!

Doesn't this card just make you smile and swoon? That's what I do when I look at this card! 

That ADORABLE (and wonderfully colored!!) koala is from Hanging Around, and I really LOVE how he's hanging off of the 'Thanks' flourish from Simply Sentimental!! The two sets work SO well together!

And that mint color...ahhhh! I do love it so! Especially with the texture of the canvas looking bows! So amazing!

I used three different stamp sets for this card: Winston's Birthday (balloons!), Boo Crew (Winston as a ghost!) and Simply Sentimental (part of the sentiment)!

I made this for a specific little birthday boy who LOVES ghosts (and even had a ghost themed birthday party!).
All of the images were watercolored with distress markers!

I honestly LOVE it and want to look at it all day!

The patterned paper and twine/hemp/fiberous string that the monkey is holding on, is genius!! She really ROCKED the Hanging Around set! I seriously couldn't love this more!

And did you see the dimension in that card? That monkey looks like he's going to pop off of the card!

Today I get to share this really fun card by our August Guest Designer, Chitra Nair! I love this fun row of birdhouses she created using our Tweet Talk stamp set! They are so fun with all their bright colors! The sky behind them is so pretty too! What a fun card to send to a friend for any occasion!

2 Simple Sentiment cards!

Happy Birthday - Paint Splatters! 

Today I'm sharing a couple fun Clean and Simple cards I created with our new Simply Sentimental stamp set. I stamped the "happy" and "birthday" words on watercolor paper and embossed them with black embossing powder. Then I used some Tim Holtz ink daubers and did quick "slams" onto the paper to create the fun paint splatters! 

This is so fun and simple! to finish off the card, I framed it onto some red cardstock and added some bakers twine! Such a great Birthday card!

The second card I'm sharing features the "thanks" and "a million" from the Simply Sentimental stamp set. To create this card I first found 3 pattern papers I liked and cut them at angles to create this fun layout - then I stamped the words on top to match the top angle. It felt like it needed a bit more so I added the buttons and white bakers twine. This was super easy to make!

More fun with Hanging Around

More fun with Hanging Around
Today I'm sharing a couple more fun cards with our new Hanging Around Stamp set! This first card uses both our new sets. I used the Monkey from our Hanging Around Stamp set along with the "Happy" and "birthday" from our Simply Sentimental set. I created a cute little banner and used the Banner stamp from the Sweet Summer Set to create the little flags. I created a fun watercolor swash behind him with some pearlescent watercolors - it's hard to tell in photo but they have a nice shimmer in real life. I just love how this turned out!  

For the next card I used the squirrels from the Hanging Around Stamp set - I stamped the squirrels first, then masked them off and stamped the line over them. Then I added the "hang in there" to make it look like it's attached to the line - Isn't it cool how clear stamps allow you to do stuff like that?  

This card was so fun to make. I also added some washi tape and bakers twine to the bottom and rounded the corners!

This gorgeous, clean card by  Lydia uses the "heartfelt" and "sympathy" from this new set, along with the cute little flower image from our Beach Party stamp set. Gorgeous! 

Love this set of gorgeous cards by Stephanie! She combined lots of different words together to make these great cards, mixing them with pretty paper patterns - something like this would make a great gift!

Here's a great birthday card by Samantha  Love the fun background and the birthday and wishes stamped all over - super fun! 

Shellye combined our two new sets, adding the hanging kitty image from the new Hanging Around set right to the tail of the word "thanks" - I love how you can combine these sets together! 

Such a pretty get well card by Tessa. She combined this set with our Love Grows set to create this beauty! 

Taheerah created sweet thank you card using the large "heartfelt" and "thanks" sentiments from this new set and combining them with the kitty from the Newton's Antics stamp set! I love all the pretty hearts too!

Here's a fun card by Danielle - this is so easy and simple - just add some patterned papers with the sentiment and you have a beautiful card! 

Crafty Math-Chick created this super fun and whimsical card! I love how she made a circle from the word happy in a rainbow of colors! Such a cute idea! 

Larissa created this adorable card. I love how she used the "heartfelt" sentiment to create a fun background - such a fun idea!  She also used the cute koala from our Hanging Around set!
