Easy Ink Blended Cards!
Today Larissa is featuring a beautiful set of ink blended cards! Not only are these cards gorgeous, they are also quick and easy to create. She started by stamping the large circle of flowers Floral Roundabout Stamp Set multiple times and embossing it with white embossing powder. Then she simply blended over it with colored ink. She added some black paint splatters and sequins for texture and sparkle. For the sentiments, she chose two phrases from our Birthday Roundabout Stamp Set and stamped them onto rounded edge banners from our Banner Trio Die Set. Then she layered a coordinating patterned paper behind each panel, die cutting the scalloped edge with our Frames & Flags Die Set.
Here are photos of the two cards:
Ink blending like this looks so lovely and is perfect for creating cards for any occasion. Just change the sentiment or the stamped image and you can change the theme!
If this project looks familiar, you might remember another similar set of cards Larissa created last month using the same technique with butterflies. To see those cards, check out this post: Butterfly Cards with Ink Blending.
