Happy May Day + Blog Hop!
Hello! Hope you're having a great "May Day"! Since April Showers bring May flowers we decided it was a good excuse to have a May Flowers Blog Hop! You are at the first stop of the hop so make sure to click through all the Design Team Members posts - they are all featuring flower cards on their blogs today with Newton's Nook Designs stamps! And of course there will be prizes (scroll down to the end of the post to see how to win) YAY!
I decided to make a Mothers Day card for the hop. I used the new bold flower set Fanciful Florals to create a bold floral image with hot magenta and lime. Then I added the "Happy Mother's Day" Sentiment from the Love Grows Stamp set. I love how simple this card was to make. To dress it up, I added on a few pearls, a slight peek of patterned paper and some white bakers twine. Then the whole thing was put on a gray card base.
